Holly’s Essential Balm is like first aid in a bottle. This all-purpose, aromatic balm is overflowing with wellness properties including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, moisturizing, and antifungal activity known to enhance healthy skin and speed recovery, and may encourage the skin’s natural rejuvenation process.(1, 2) Inhaling these essential oils stimulates the olfactory nerves in the nasal cavity and stimulates the limbic system, resulting in calming, balancing, and synergistic benefits.(3)
This balm is rich in Fair Trade shea butter, which has been shown to hydrate, soothe, protect and repair damaged skin.(4) Coconut oil, also in the base, has skin repair, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity.(5)

SUGGESTED USE:
Apply a small amount of the balm and gently massage over desired skin area until mostly absorbed. For minor wounds and burns, apply a small amount of Holly's Essential Balm and cover with a bandage. Repeat as needed.
Consult your physician if irritation develops after using the balm, and avoid use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If pregnant, nursing, or under a physician’s care, consult your physician before using. It is recommended to initially apply a small amount of the balm where you intend to use it, to check for unwanted effects.

How do I perform a Test for skin sensitivity to Holly's Essential Balm?
If there is a question as to whether Holly's Essential Balm will cause skin sensitivity or an allergic skin reaction, please perform a sensitivity test as follows:
• Using a cotton swab, spread a thin layer of the product to be tested over an area of skin about two inches square on the inner side of the lower arm, near the crook of the elbow.
• Do not wash the test area for 24-48 hours.
• Watch for any signs of skin sensitivity or allergic reaction, such as a rash, itching, redness, swelling, pain, etc., or if nausea or respiratory reactions occur. If so, wash the area with warm water and mild soap and discontinue use of the product. Contact an appropriate health professional if symptoms continue.
• If there is no allergic reaction or skin sensitivity, it is likely that Holly's Essential Balm is safe to use on your skin, but please continue to watch for any adverse reaction that may be dependent on how often or how much of the product in question is used. If any reaction does occur, please discontinue use immediately.
